Something in this poster interested me, Either the Comics-book cover look or the Thrillers of 80’s appearance. Eitherway it has made a good impression and made me wait for the Fresh/creative film of the year 2009.
Aaranya Kaandam, is directed by Kumar Raja. Ravi krishna, Sampath and Jacki Sheroff appear in this movie and Music by none other than Yuvan.
Let us expect another Chennai-28 from the Producer, SPB Charan.

A R Rahman is the happy man now. His songs for Ghajini is chartbuster, Have won Satellite award for Slumdog Millionaire and he is the first indian to be nominated for Golden globe awards for his work on Slumdog Millionaire.
Q: We’ve heard you are going to be working with Kylie Minogue?
A: “Yeah, for a film called “Blue”. They (the producers) wanted a celebrity. There were three or four choices, but we chose Kylie. There was Beyonce and a couple of other people, but we thought Kylie would be the correct choice.”

Producer or Financier?

Enthiren has changed hands from Ayngaran & EROS to Sun Pictures. And it seems to be a matter of Flash news on Sun News channel for their standards. Earlier they purchased (pls read as Produced on their terms) Kadhalil Vizhunthen when the film was ready to release and already famous for the song Naka muka.
Anyways, we can certainly believe that they will try to milk each drop of the immensely popular project ‘Enthiren’. Feel pity for Superstar, Shankar, Rahman and each crew members.

Quitters never will win. I have left my 8 year old habit today (you know what ). Intentionally i have not made it as a new year resolution, since resolutions are made synonymous with breaking that. For years i haven’t felt that i was addicted to it, i thought that i can leave it any time but not anymore. So this was the result of my sleepless night yesterday thinking over it. I haven’t read any motivational speeches or any other books/websites to quit, it was spontaneous.
I can feel support in the environment. Believe i will succeed.
It was accidental that i left it on the first day of the month (markazhi)!!

It’s all just one big lie

As Global meltdown and credit crunch is not enough, Mandoff fraud has hit the financial market.
Bernard Mandoff, the founder of Bernard L. Madoff, that invested funds for wealthy individuals and institutions, was arrested and charged with allegedly running a $ 50 bn Ponzi scheme as told by him. According to SEC suit, Madoff’s investment advisory business was a ponzi scheme, taking money from new money from investors to pay off existing clients which yielded high returns to investors. In Nov 08, when market was worse mandoff continued to report to investors that their funds were up by 5.6 %.It all came into light when investors wanted to withdraw $7 bn from the firm. Mandoff told his employees that “It’s all just one big lie” and the whole business is ” a giant ponzi scheme”. Mandoff told his sons that the firm was nearing bankrupt, who then alerted the federal authorities. Before being caught, he was working on a scheme to roll out his remaining funds of $300 mn to the employees and family members.
He was charged with a single count of securities fraud and faces up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $5 million, according to prosecutors.

A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulant investment operation that involves paying abnormally high returns to investors out of the money paid in by subsequent investors, rather than from the profit from any real business.

Don’t have Girl friends – Selvaraghavan

Both of us love music. At times, we used to talk about music. She is singing two songs in the film, which had rumour mills working overtime. I tell you honestly, you cannot have female friends in this industry
I will boldly say Aayirathil Oruvan is truly a spectacular action adventure moving from the 13th century to the present day. It is an attempt by Selva to do a different sort of film on a big canvas. I have almost given two years of my life for the film
